This lampshade is woven by artisan families from Michoacán who work with fibers such as tule (bulrush) and chuspata, aquatic plants obtained from the region's lakes. The fibers are cut in specific seasons, sun-dried, and re-humidified before weaving to regain flexibility. Each piece reflects hours of careful work and knowledge passed down through generations.
