This lamp shade is woven by artisan families from Michoacán who work with fibers such as bulrush (tule) and chuspata, aquatic plants obtained from the region's lakes. The fibers are cut in specific seasons, sun-dried, and re-moistened before weaving to regain flexibility. Each piece reflects hours of careful work and knowledge passed down from generation to generation.

Bulrush is a natural plant fiber that can be composted at the end of its useful life. The metal frame can be recycled or reused. By choosing pieces made with natural fibers and artisanal processes, you support more conscious, durable, and responsible consumption.
